Are you wondering what my profile picture means? Today, I am taking a break from my computer in solidarity with the millions of people suffering from violence, displacement, and looming famine in South Sudan. I cannot comfortably live in a world where 3.8 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance and 4 million people could be facing “alarming food insecurity” by Christmas.
